Tile
Tiles are terracotta and ceramic products that are mainly used in building construction, which is also called artificial stone. This word is adapted from the name of the city of Kashan, which was famous as the center of the pottery industry since the early Islamic era. The word tile in Latin ( tile) is said to be a synonym of the French word (tuile) which means the flower of the roof and the Latin meaning of (tile) is the covering on the building.
Ceramic
Ceramic is actually a type of tile that is used as a floor or wall covering in some spaces. To make ceramics, raw materials such as: clay, kaolin, aluminum oxide, silicon carbide, tungsten carbide and other pure materials are mixed with water. They mix and pour the resulting dough into a mold, then put it in a dryer to dry the ingredients, and finally heat them in tile ovens.
